PROGRAM OVERVIEW
11–19 April 2026 Leonidio & Lakonia, Peloponnese
11–12 April — Arrival & Orientation
​
Participants arrive in Leonidio and settle into the shared living environment. The residency opens with participation in the local Greek Easter celebrations, offering an introduction to the cultural rhythms, and social landscapes of the region.


16–17 April — Lakonia Excursion: Petrified Forest
​
The residency continues with a guided excursion to Lakonia and the petrified forest. Somatic practices and site-responsive work unfold within this unique geological environment, accompanied by underwater exploration led by an experienced local guide. These days invite engagement with deep time, fossilized matter, and submerged ecologies.
Evening of 17 April: return to Leonidio.
13–15 April — Leonidio & Quarry Research
​
These days focus on embodied and site-specific research in Leonidio and the abandoned quarry. Mornings begin with guided movement and creative sessions in selected locations, exploring sensorimotor perception in relation to landscape and materiality. Afternoons are free for individual exploration, rest, or personal research. Evenings gather the group for shared dinners and daily reflection sessions.

18 April — Integration & Closing

The final day is dedicated to integration and mentorship sessions, supporting participants in reflecting on their experience and mapping emerging artistic directions and research trajectories.
Led by the artistic director of the residency, Eleni Danesi, the final day of mentorship supports participants in integrating their lived experience through guided reflection, dialogue, and embodied mapping, helping clarify emerging artistic directions and translate insights from the residency into sustainable future practices and professional trajectories.

The residency concludes with a farewell dinner at Myrtoon, a local fish tavern, marking the closing of the shared research cycle.

19 April — Departure
Participants depart from Leonidio.
ACCOMMODATION


Archontiko Papa Mimi is a renovated and fully equipped traditional residence located in the center of Leonidio and accommodates up TO 13 participants. It offers a comfortable shared living environment suitable for both rest and collective exchange during the residency.

The house is within a five-minute walking distance of local restaurants, cafés, including our collective café and famous cooperative PANJIKA, the village market, and nearby climbing areas, and approximately three kilometers from the beach.
Its central location allows easy access to daily activities while providing a grounded base for focused work, reflection, and communal living.
PERSONAL INVESTMENT
Limited number of participants! We are welcoming up to 10 participants, and we advise you to book your spot early. We only have one single room. The rest of the rooms are double, and one is triple. Contact us if you want to book with a partner or friend and get both 10% off the standard price.
Upon acceptance, to secure your spot, you will have to deposit half of the price by the 8th of March. The rest of the payment can be done on-site.
